Though I visited Thailand few years ago, I didn't know about this magnificent attraction.

رغم أني زرت تايلاند قبل بضع سنوات، إلا أنني لم أكن أعرف عن هذا المكان الرائع.

These photos are not of a Sci-Fi movie or Photoshop fake ones! They are of Muang Boran or "the Ancient City Park" at Ancient Siam about a hour drive from Bangkok, Thailand.

Though you get the fearful feeling that rocks may crush the town houses, this town has been inhabited for the last 25,000 years. Setenil de las Bodegas is a small town in Andalucía, Southern Spain, famous for its dwellings built under overhanging rocks. Populated by 3,016 inhabitants.

على الرغم من أنك قد تشعر بالرهبة من أن الصخور قد تسحق منازل البلدة، إلاّ أن هذه البلدة مسكونة منذ حوالي 25,000 سنة. سيتينل دي لاس بوديغاس هي بلدة صغيرة في الأندلس بجنوب اسبانيا، تشتهر بمساكنها المبنية تحت الصخور المتدلية ويسكنها حوالي 3,016 نسمة.

Strangely enough, the thieves here are birds! They are "Honey-buzzards". They are large birds of prey that have broad wings and a long tail. The plumage varies with age - typical adults are grayish-brown on their upperparts and whitish on under-parts.

Fried Egg Jellyfishقنديل البيض المقلي

Is this fried egg dropped on the beach?

هل هذه بيضة مقلية وقعت على رمل الشاطئ؟

No it is not. It is a jellyfish washed off the shore, commonly known as the fried egg jellyfish or egg-yolk jellyfish (scientifically Phacellophora camtschatica). This species can be easily identified by the yellow coloration in the center of its body which closely resembles an egg yolk, hence it got its common name. It can be found worldwide.

لا إنها ليست كذلك. وإنما هو قنديل بحر ألقته الأمواج على الشاطئ، وهو معروف باسم قنديل البيض المقلي أو قنديل صفار البيض (ويسمى علميًا Phacellophora camtschatica). ويمكن التعرف بسهولة على هذا النوع من قناديل البحر يتميز باللون الأصفر الموجود في وسط جسمه والذي يشبه إلى حد كبير صفار البيض، ومن هنا جاء اسمه الشائع. ويمكن العثور عليها في جميع أنحاء العالم.
