One of the most eye-catching things in Korea is seeing people holding huge twisted ice cream cones or gigantic towers of ice cream, hoping that one would consume the ice cream before it melts down on the ground. In addition Koreans have amazing varieties of ready-made ice creams.

At the summit of the 40 meters tall Katskhi pillar, is a small monastery the remains of which dated back to between the 6th and 8th centuries. Katskhi pillar is located in western Georgian region of Imereti, about 10 kilometers from the mining town of Chiatura. In pagan times, before the advent of Christianity, the towering Katskhi Pillar was thought to represent a local god of fertility, possibly due to its erect shape!?

Do you think that is it possible to print a big boat that can carry several people and sail safely?

This is exactly what a team of researchers headed by Prof. Habib Dagher from the University of Maine, USA, revealed in September 2019. In just 72 hours they created the largest solid 3D printed boat in the world, the 3Dirigo, using a large-format 3D printer from a mixture of plastic and wood cellulose! The boat is 7.62 meters long and weighs 2.2 tons.

هذا بالضبط ما كشف عنه فريق من الباحثين يرأسه البروفيسور حبيب داغر من جامعة مين في الولايات المتحدة في سبتمبر 2019. ففي غضون 72 ساعة فقط صنعوا أكبر قارب صلب مطبوع طباعة ثلاثية الأبعاد في العالم،وسموه 3 ديريغو، وذلك باستخدام طابعة ثلاثية الأبعاد كبيرة الحجم واستخدموا مزيجا من البلاستيك و سليلوز الخشب! ويبلغ طول القارب 7.62 مترا ويزن 2.2 طنا.

The famous Popular Science magazine, published in September 16, 2013, the results of a startling discovery of tiny air-breathing snails with translucent shells in the Trojama cave system in Croatia at depths of 900 meters. Similar discoveries have been made during a 17-cave sampling expedition of Northern Spain.

One of the most beautifully colored sea creatures are the Nudibranchs -- sometimes called sea slugs. Some have an external anatomy with textures and colors that mimicked surroundings. Others have intensely bright and contrasting color patterns that makes them especially conspicuous in their surroundings.
