All what is needed are two cans, one is smaller than the other, ice, rock salt and the ice cream ingredients. The smaller can is filled with the ingredients then inserted inside the larger can and surrounded by ice and rock salt. The cans are sealed and taped, then kicked or rolled for 15-20 minutes; and viola the ice cream is ready. The concept does not differ than the old methods which usually require turning the ingredients placed in an inner container surrounded by ice.
