This is not the only case of winged cats. Many sighting of cats with wings have been recorded around the world, China, Egypt, India, Spain, Sweden, etc. Could cats fly one day? The largest cat wings were recorded in northern Sweden in June 1949 by the State Museum of Natural History. The wings were 58 cm across.

MBARI (Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute) researchers have used an undersea robot, a remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), to taken a video of the barreleye fish in the deep waters just offshore of Central California. At depths of 600 to 800 meters, the ROV cameras showed these fish hanging motionless in the water, their eyes glowing a vivid green in the ROV's bright lights. The ROV video also revealed a previously un-described feature of these fish--its eyes are surrounded by a transparent, fluid-filled shield that covers the top of the fish's head, making the head as if made of glass.

استخدم باحثو معهد أبحاث خليج مونتيري للأحياء المائية روبوت الأعماق، وهو عبارة عن مركبة تعمل عن بعد (تختصر روف) لالتقاط مقطع فيديو لأسماك البرميل في المياه العميقة قبالة شاطئ وسط كاليفورنيا على عمق 600 إلى 800 مترا. وقد أظهرت كاميرات الروف هذه الأسماك وكأنها معلقة في الماء بلا حراك ، وأعينها تتوهج باللون الأخضر الزاهي في أضواء الروبوت الساطعة. وقد كشف الفيديو أيضًا عن سمة غير موصوفة سابقًا لهذه الأسماك – وهي أن عيونها محاطة بدرع شفاف مملوء بالسائل يغطي الجزء العلوي من رأس السمكة، مما يجعل رأسها كما لو كان مصنوعًا من الزجاج.
