People have been fixated on Napoleon's penis since Napoleon's doctor allegedly cut it off during his autopsy in 1821 and gave it to a priest in Corsica. The penis size is currently around 3.81 cm (1.5 inches) long (It could have shriveled due to improper preservation). It was sold as part of the so-called "Vignali Collection" of Napoleonic relics for about $800 in 1924. The relic was bought in 1977 by urologist Dr. John Lattimer for $2,900. Lattimer died in 2007 and now his heirs are considering putting it up for auction for $100,000.
