No, it is not intended for chicken's worship!! It is a real church.

لا إنها ليست مخصصة لتعبّد الدجاج! إنها كنيسة حقيقية.

It is a massive chapel in the middle of the Indonesian forests of Magelang in Central Java, known by locals as Gereja Ayam (or the Chicken Church).

إنها كنيسة ضخمة في وسط غابات ماجيلانغ الإندونيسية وسط جزيرة جافا، ويسميها السكان المحليون باسم جريجا آيام (أو كنيسة الدجاجة).

This unusual structure was built as a house of worship by a 67-year-old man, Daniel Alamsjah, currently living in Jakarta. The church design is supposed to be like a dove the symbol of love and sincerity in Christian myth. Daniel claims that the idea came from a divine vision that he had, in which God asked him to build a "prayer house" in the shape of a dove of peace atop a hill.

تم بناء هذا الهيكل غير العادي كدار عبادة من قبل رجل يبلغ من العمر 67 عامًا، إسمه دانيال الامسجة ويعيش حاليًا في جاكرتا. ومن المفترض أن يكون تصميم الكنيسة شكل حمامة، رمز الحب والإخلاص في الأساطير المسيحية. ويزعم دانيال أن الفكرة أتت إليه في رؤيا إلهية، حيث طلب منه الله أن يبني "بيتًا للصلاة" على شكل حمامة سلام فوق تلة.

The prayer house opened its doors by the 1990s. The church welcomed any religion, including Buddhists, Muslims, and Christians. The project was stopped in 2000 due to lack of funds. The poor chicken-dove-church was vacated, and left to the forest.

وقد فتح بيت الصلاة أبوابه في التسينيات.ورحبت الكنيسة بأي دين بما في ذلك البوذية والإسلام والمسيحية. ثم توقف المشروع في عام 2000 بسبب نقص التمويل. فهجرت كنيسة الحمامة الفقيرة وتركت للغابة.

But these days, it's been cleaned up and turned into a tourist attraction. Local artists have covered the inner walls with vibrant murals showing local mythology and history and there's a small cafe nestled within the chicken's rear. You can even climb up to the top of the bird's head for amazing 360-degree views.
