In Saudi Arabia in the desert near Tayma is the most intriguing megalith in the world.

في السعودية في الصحراء قرب تيماء توجد صخرة عملاقة من أكثر الصخور غموضا في العالم.

It is a huge megalith that have a flat uniform straight slit as if cut by a precision laser beam. The front face of the two parts is also very flat as if, again, cut by laser, while the back face is rough and as still unfinished. The two parts are standing and balancing on what looks like two small pedestals. Could it be an unfinished work of precise ancient tool? What do you think? How has it been formed?

إنها صخرة عملاقة في وسطها شق مستقيم منتظم مسطح، كما لو أنها قطعت باستخدام أشعة الليزر الدقيقة. والوجه الأمامي للجزءين مسطح تماما وهو أيضا يبدو كما لو أنه قطع بالليزر، بينما الوجه الخلفي وعر خشن وكأنه ما زال غير مكتمل. يستند الجزءان ويتوازنان على ما يبدو وكأنه ركيزتين صغيرتين. فهل يمكن أن تكون هذه الصخرة جزءا من عملٌ غير مكتملٍ تم بأداة تقطيع دقيقة عند القدماء؟ ما رأيك؟ وكيف تم تشكيلها؟

نقوش قديمة ترى منقوشة على سطح الوجه المسطح الأمامي للصخرة.

The flat face and the uniform straight slit are actually completely natural. Many theories have been formed to explain it. One theory says that most likely ground shifted slightly underneath one of the two supports and the rock split. Another says It could be during the solidification of volcanic material of some weaker mineral. But all theories don't explain why the front face is flat or the right side is also flat, as if it was prepared to be a huge stone block for a construction somewhere!!!

إن الوجه المسطح والشق المسطح المنتظم هما في الحقيقة طبيعيان تمامًا. وقد تم تكوين العديد من النظريات لشرح ذلك. تقول إحدى النظريات أن الأرض تحركت قليلا على الأرجح تحت أحدى الدعامتين فانقسم الصخر. ويقول آخرون أنه يمكن أن تكون نتيجة تصلب مواد بركانية لبعض المعادن الأضعف. ولكن كل النظريات لا يمكنها أن تشرح كيف اصبح الوجه الأمامي مسطحاً وكيف أن الجانب الأيمن مسطح أيضاً، وكأنه كان تجهيزا لهذه الصخرة كي تكون كتلة حجرية ضخمة لبناء ما في مكان ما!!!

الجانب الخلفي لصخرة النصلة ليس مسطحا كوجهها. وهذه صفة محيرة أخرى!

This giant boulder is called Al Naslaa and it is located in the Tayma desert, northwest of Saudi Arabia, or rather between Madinah City and Dumah. Thousands of people venture out to see this interesting stone each year.

تدعى هذه الصخرة العملاقة المشطورة بصخرة النصلة وتقع في صحراء تيماء في شمال غرب المملكة العربية السعودية أو بالأحرى بين المدينة المنورة والدومة. ويأتي آلاف من الناس كل عام لمشاهدة هذه الصخرة المثيرة للاهتمام.
