Are these adorable little creatures tamed to act like humans?

هل هذه المخلوقات الصغيرة الظريفة مروضة كي تتصرف كالبشر؟

No, these squirrels are not tamed in captivity. They are free curious creatures living in Nancy Rose's backyard in Halifax, Canada. Nancy have noticed that those creatures would inspect anything she puts out in the backyard in search for food. So she decided to utilize that instinct by hiding food in some places and catch them in action.

لا، هذه السناجب ليست مروضة ولا هي في الأسر. وإنما هي مخلوقات حرة وفضولية تعيش في الفناء الخلفي لمنزل نانسي روز في هاليفاكس بكندا. لاحظت نانسي أن هذه المخلوقات تتفحص أي شيء تضعه في الفناء الخلفي بحثاً عن الطعام. لذلك قررت استغلال هذه الغريزة وإخفاء الطعام في أماكن ثم تصويرهم وهم يقومون بعملهم.

Then Nancy started making miniature props for them to explore. She hides some food for them to search for. With patience and a ready camera she captures them in action next to the props. The resultant photos are great and more can be seen on her flickr.com pages.
