Finger monkeys or teacup monkeys, are In fact insanely cute creatures. Sometimes referred to as thumb monkeys, pocket monkeys or little lions, the latter due to the fur that surrounds their heads like a mane. Their official name is the pygmy marmoset monkeys.

The tree-dwelling pygmy marmoset is the world's smallest monkey, with an adult only up to 16 centimeters in length, not including the tail, and 140 grams in weight. Its tail length is up to 23 cm, about twice its body length. Females tend to be slightly larger than males. And when they're babies, they're exceedingly tiny and unbelievably cute.

قرد الإصبع القزم والذي يعيش على الأشجار هو أصغر قرد في العالم، يبلغ طوله حتى 16 سم فقط باستثناء ذيله ويزن حتى 140 جرامًا. أما ذيله فيصل طوله إلى 23 سم، أي ضعف طول جسمه. وتميل الإناث إلى أن تكون أكبر قليلاً من الذكور. وعندما يكونوا أطفالًا، يكونون صغار الحجم للغاية ولذيذين بشكل لا يصدق.

Finger monkeys are social creatures that, in the wild, live in small groups generally made up of an adult male, adult female, and their offspring.

قرد الإصبع والذي موطنه الطبيعي هو غابات الأمازون المطيرة الغربية في أمريكا الجنوبية، يصدر الكثير من الأصوات العالية مقارنة بحجمه الصغير - إذ تنتقل صافراته وصيحاته بعيدًا في جميع أنحاء الغابة. قرود الإصبع هي كائنات اجتماعية تعيش في البرية في مجموعات صغيرة تتكون عمومًا من ذكر بالغ وأنثى بالغة وذريتهم.

Marmosets are omnivores, which means they eat a variety of foods. Their diet includes insects, fruit, tree sap and other small animals.
