Have you ever seen a bird like this? Well, it is called the Livingstone's Turaco (named after its discoverer). It is one of the "banana-eaters" Turaco birds family.

هل رأيتم طيرا كهذا من قبل؟ إنه طير توراكو ليفنغستون (اسمه مأخوذ إسم من مكتشفه) وهو طير من عائلة طيور التوراكو "آكلات الموز".

Livingstone's Turaco are distributed through the subtropical lowlands of southeastern Africa. It has an isolated population in Burundi, and is besides found from southern Tanzania to eastern and southern Malawi, eastern Zimbabwe and Mozambique. The Turaco birds family contains 18 bird types that compete for beauty. They live on fruits and sometimes they eat small insects, snails and slugs.

تتوزع طيور توراكو ليفنغستون عبر المناطق المنخفضة شبه الإستوائية في جنوب شرق أفريقيا. وتوجد له تجمعات منعزلة في بوروندي وأيضا يوجد في مناطق تمتد من جنوب تنزانيا إلى شرق وغرب المالاوي وشرق موزمبيق وزيمبابواي. تضم عائلة طيور التوراكو 18 نوعا مختلفا من الطيور التي تنافس بعضها البعض جمالاً، وتتغذى على الفواكه وفي بعض الأحيان على الحشرات الصغيرة والقواقع والرخويات.
