This happens only in Oaxaca city, Mexico, at an annual one-day event dedicated to radishes! It is the Night of the Radishes (La Noche de Rábanos), a unique folk art festival that takes place every December 23rd. In the 16th century, after radishes were brought to the Americas, vegetable sellers used to make sculptures of radishes to advertise in the markets.
