The Green vine snake, is a flattish slender tree snake found in south east Asia. They are mildly venomous, and their venom causes swelling, with symptoms usually subsiding in three days., They feed normally on frogs and lizards and are slow moving, relying on camouflaging as a vine in foliage to hunt.

أفعى الكرم الخضراء، نحيلة خضراء شبه مسطحة تعيش على الشجر وتوجد في جنوب شرق آسيا. وهي قليلة السمية، يسبب سمها تورماً مع أعراض الخمود عادة لمدة ثلاثة أيام. تتغذى عادة على الضفادع والسحالي. وهي بطيئة الحركة وتعتمد في تصيدها على التمويه لتشابهها بالكرمة وأوراق الشجر.

Gives birth and not laying eggs!!

تلد ولا تبيض بيضاً!!

It expands its body when disturbed to show the black and white scales, and may open its mouth and point its head towards the threat. There is a widespread myth in parts of southern India that the species uses its pointed head to blind human victims. The species is viviparous, not laying eggs as other snakes. They give birth to young that grow within the mother's body, enclosed within the egg membrane.

وهي توسع جسدها عندما تواجه خطراً لإظهار حراشفها البيضاء والسوداء. وقد فتح فمها كنوع من التهديد وتوجه رأسها باتجاه المهدد. وهناك أسطورة منتشرة في أجزاء من جنوب الهند بأنها تستخدم رأسها المدبب لتعمي ضحاياها من البشر. وهذه الأنواع ولودة، وليست كبقية الأفاعي التي تتكاثر بالبيض. فهي تلد صغارها الذين ينمون داخل جسم الأم محاطين بغشاء البيضة.
