What do you see here? Isn't it a fox? It is called the Giant Golden-Crowned Flying Fox!!

ماذا ترى هنا؟ أليس هذا ثعلباً؟ إنه يدعى التعلب الطائر العملاق ذو التاج الذهبي!!

I flipped this photo, intentionally, upside down to illustrate the face resemblance of The Giant Golden-Crowned Flying-Fox Bat with foxes' faces. They are a rare species and among the largest bats on earth with a wingspan of 1.5–1.7 m, but doesn't weigh more than 1.2 kg.

قلبت هذه الصورة عمداَ رأسًا على عقب لتوضيح التشابه بين وجه الخفافيش العملاقة ذات التاج الذهبي مع وجوه الثعالب. وهي من الأنواع النادرة ومن أكبر الخفافيش على وجه الأرض حيث يبلغ طول جناحيها 1.5-1.7 متر بينما لا يزيد وزنها عن 1.2 كجم.

يلتف بأجنحته وكأنه يلبس عباءة سوداء ويتدلى ورأسه إلى الأسفل.

The only home of the Giant Golden-Crowned Flying-Fox Bat is Maitum and Mindanao areas in the Philippines. Captive individuals are known to live as long as 23 years, while those in the wild are believed to live less - up to 15 years.

والموطن الوحيد لخفافيش الثعلب الطائر العملاق ذو التاج الذهبي هو منطقتي مايتوم ومينداناو في جزر الفلبين. ومن المعروف أنها أعمارها في الأسير قد تصل إلى 23 عامًا ، بينما يُعتقد بأن التي تعيش منها في البرية تكون أعمارها أقل منذ ذلك – قد تصل إلى 15 عامًا.

They consumes fruits and hunt for food at night.

تستهلك الفاكهة وتقوم بالبحث عن الطعام في الليل.

These bats take a great deal of care and time with personal grooming. They will use their wings to scoop the water up and put it all over the body.

وهذه الخفافيش تأخذ قسطاً كبيرا من الوقت في العناية والنظافة الشخصية. وهي تستخدم أجنحتها لغرف الماء ووضعه على جميع أنحاء جسمها.

They are among the largest bats on earth with a wingspan of 1.5–1.7 m.

هي من أكبر الخفافيش على وجه الأرض حيث يبلغ طول جناحيها 1.5-1.7 متر.
