Welcome to my home land, at the southern west of Australia, mainly in Rottnest Island.

أهلا بكم في موطني في جنوب غرب استراليا وبالذات في جزيرة روت نست.

Rottnest Island is a scenic island, off the Australian coast of Fremantle, famous for its sandy beaches and outdoor activities and of course its most famous inhabitants; small-size relatives of Kangaroo, the quokka - the cutest creature in Australia and the one labeled "the happiest animal in the world". Why? The animals are remarkably friendly and have a naturally "happy" expression and are known to love posing for selfies with fans. Their smiles are permanent even during sleep!

جزيرة روت نست جزيرة ذات مناظر خلابة، تقع قبالة ساحل فرمانتل الاسترالي وتشتهر بشواطئها الرملية وأنشطة الهواء الطلق وكذلك بسكانها الأكثر شهرة؛ أبناء عم الكنغر الصغار الحجم، "الكوكا" – وهو أظرف مخلوق في أستراليا وهو الذي يطلق عليه عالمياً "أسعد حيوان في العالم". لماذا؟ لإنه حيوانات ودود للغاية ولديه تعابير "السعادة" مرسومة على وجهه بشكل طبيعي ومعروف بأنه يعشق الوقوف مع المعجبين لالتقاط صور سيلفي. ابتساماته لا تفارقه حتى أثناء نومه!

The cutest creatures in Australia are labeled the happiest animals in the world.

Quokka, is cuddly, cat-sized herbivorous pouched marsupials (hopping like kangaroos) native to the Australian continent. Their population in the mainland is very limited but they thrive in Rottnest Island (near Perth) and Bald Island (near Albany). When Dutch explorers first encountered the West Coast of Australia in the late 17th century, they thought quokkas were giant rats, and labeled the island "rotte nest" or the "rats nest" in Dutch.

الكوكا، حيوان محبوب بحجم الفطط وهو من الحيوانات العشبية الجرابية (يقفز مثل الكنغر) موطنه القارة الأسترالية. وعددها محدود في البر الرئيسي ولكنها تكثر في جزيرة روت نست (بالقرب من مدينة بيرث) وجزيرة بولد (بالقرب من ألباني). عندما صادف المستكشفون الهولنديون لأول مرة الساحل الغربي لأستراليا في أواخر القرن السابع عشر، ظنوا أن حيوانات الكوكا هي فئران عملاقة، فسموا الجزيرة باسم "روت نست" أو "عش الفئران" باللغة الهولندية.
