For sure these hotels are not for Claustrophobia people. Capsule Hotels are found in Japan and in China. They comprise of stacked rows of small individual capsules with just enough room to sleep. Normally have two rows on top of each other, with steps to access the upper level. The capsules are sealed with doors or curtains and bathroom facilities are normally shared. Lockers outside the capsules are usually provided to guests to store their baggage.
