Ikebana ("living flowers") is a Japanese art of flower arrangement. Ikebana is more than simply putting flowers in a container, it is a disciplined art that shows the beauty of other parts of the plant, like stems and leaves, and draws emphasis towards shapes, lines and forms. Ikebana arrangements may consist of only a minimal number of blooms interspersed among stalks and leaves. Keith Stanley is a floral designer. He practices modern designs and Japanese Ikebana.
