Four million flowers, are used to create 50 extraordinary sculptures at the world's most prestigious competition of horticultural art at the 2013 Mosaicultures Internationales® event, which is opened in June and will continue till September at Montreal Botanical Garden in Quebec, Canada.

The theme this year is "Land of Hope", where 250 of the world's most talented horticultural artists competed form 25 countries. The exhibited sculptures complement more than 22,000 plant species and cultivars, thirty thematic outdoor gardens, Tree House and 10 exhibition greenhouses. Mosaiculture originated in Montreal in 2000. It is now a prestigious international competition, staged every three years in a different city, with funding from governments and the private sector. Last time, it was held in Shanghai.
