Brussels Flower Carpet biannual festival is back after it was canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic. The Brussels Flower Carpet is an event that happens in August every two years since 1986. The floral carpet is built by volunteers using millions of colorful begonias at the Grand Place - the historic area in the center of the capital of Belgium.

وعاد مهرجان سجادة الزهور الذي يحث كل عامين إلى مدينة بروكسل بعد أن ألغي في عام 2020 بسبب جائحة كورونا. فسجادة زهور بروكسل تحدث في شهر أغسطس (آب) كل عامين وذلك منذ عام 1986. ويقوم المتطوعون ببناء سجادة الزهور باستخدام ملايين زهرات البيغونيا الملونة في الساحة الكبرى في المنطقة التاريخية في وسط العاصمة البلجيكية.

The idea started in Brussels in 1971; then it was followed by another one in 1976, then again in 1979 with 'Bruocsella' Millennium. One year later they created another design to celebrate Belgium's '150th Anniversary'. In 1986 the City Council of Brussels decided to hold the event every two years in August.

بدأت فكرة سجادة الزهور في بروكسل في عام 1971؛ أعقبتها سجادة أخرى عام 1976، ثم مرة ثانية في عام 1979 للاحتفال بألفية مدينة بروكسل. وبعد عام واحد تم تصميم سجادة للاحتفال بذكرى 150 سنة على إنشاء بلجيكا. وفي عام 1986 قرر مجلس مدينة بروكسل القيام بهذا الحدث مرة كل سنتين في شهر أغسطس (آب).
