'City in the sky' is an architectural concept about an imaginary tranquil oasis above the mega-developed and polluted city, where one can escape from the everyday noise and stress. The Bulgarian architect designer Tsvetan Toshkov. was inspired by the Lotus flower, known for its ability to grow above the murky waters, pure and clean. Higher than the Empire State Building, the "City in the Sky" features glass and steel structures that will have reflective ponds, sprawling lawns and groves of trees that offer a calm respite from the chaos of the city far below. The glass walls would shield residents and visitors from the winds that often smack New York and London.
"مدينة في السماء" هو مفهوم معماري لواحة هادئة تخيلية فوق المدن الضخمة والملوثة، حيث يمكن للمرء الهروب من ضجيج الحياة اليومية والتوتر. وقد استلهم المصمم المعماري البلغاري تسفيتان توشكوف تصميمه من زهرة اللوتس المعروفة بقدرتها على النمو فوق المياه العكرة، نقية وصافية. "مدينة في السما"’ هي أعلى من مبنى امباير ستيت في نيويورك، وستكون مصنوعة من الحديد والزجاج وسيوجد في أعلاها برك صافية ومروج مترامية الاطراف وبساتين من الأشجار توفر الراحة والهدوء بعيداً عن الفوضى وضوضاء المدينة في الأسفل. جدرانها الزجاجية ستحمي حماية السكان والزوار من الرياح التي تصفع غالبا نيويورك ولندن.
