Clarks Shoe Manufacturer has exhibited 3D printed shoes at the TCT Live show, which was held at the NEC in Birmingham, UK in September 2011. The models were created in full color on a ZPrinter from Z Corporation
ZPrinters create the models one layer at a time by spreading a very thin layer of powder then printing an inkjet colored glue on that thin layer to bind it and form a cross-section of the model. The process is repeated thru a thin powder layer and then glue until the object is finished. Below you can see a ZPrinter in action.

قامت شركة كلاركس لصناعة الأحذية بعرض أحذية مصنوعة على طابعة ثلاثية الأبعاد في معرض تي سي تي الذي أقيم على أرض المعارض في برمنغهام ببريطانيا في سبتمبر (أيلول) 2011. وقد تم صنع نماذج الأحذية على طابعة زي برنتر التي تصنعها شركة زي كوربوريشن.
وتعتمد طابعات "زي بنتر" ثلاثية الأبعاد في صنع النماذج على الأسلوب التالي: إذ تقوم برصف طبقة بودرة رقيقة جداً ثم طباعة غراء ملون فوق طبقة البودرة لكي تتماسك مكونة مقطعاً عرضياً للنموذج المصنوع وتكرر هذه العملية من طبقات البودرة ثم طباعة الغراء حتى ينتهي تكوين النوذج.
