Ziona Chana (born 21 July 1945) lives with his 39 wives, 94 children, 14-daughters-in-law and 33 grandchildren in a 100-room mansion set amidst the hills of Baktwang village in the Indian state of Mizoram. His wives take it in turns to share his bed. Mr Chana is the head of a Christian sect that allows male members to take as many wives as they want. His religious sect has 400 members. Mr. Chana has not stopped looking for new wives. 'To expand my sect, I am willing to go even to the U.S. to marry' he said.

يعيش زيونا شانا (من مواليد 21 يوليو 1945) مع زوجاته الـ 39 و 94 إبناً و بنتاً و 14 زوجة ابن و 33 حفيدًا في عمارة من 100 غرفة تقع وسط تلال قرية باكتوانج في ولاية ميزورام الهندية. وتتناوب زوجاته على مشاركة السرير معه. والسيد تشانا هو رئيس طائفة مسيحية تسمح للذكور من أتباعه بأخذ أي عدد من الزوجات كما يريدون. وعدد طائفته الدينية يصل إلى 400 عضو. لم يتوقف السيد شانا عن البحث عن زوجات جدد. وقال "لتوسيع طائفتي أنا على استعداد للذهاب حتى إلى الولايات المتحدة للزواج".

The family is organized with almost military discipline, with the oldest wife Zathiangi organizing her fellow partners to perform household chores such as cleaning, washing and preparing meals. One evening meal can see them pluck 30 chickens, peel 65kg of potatoes and boil up to 100kg of rice.

يتم تنظيم الأسرة وفق انضباط عسكري تقريبًا، حيث تنظم الزوجة الأكبر سناً زاثيانجي ضرائرها (زميلاتها) للقيام بالأعمال المنزلية مثل التنظيف والغسيل وإعداد وجبات الطعام. حيث أن تراهم ينتفون 30 دجاجة ويقشرون 65 كجم من البطاطس ويغلون ما يصل إلى 100 كجم من الأرز وذلك لتحضير وجبة المساء.

At a certain year, Mr. Chana married ten women, when he was at his most prolific, and enjoys his own double bed while his wives do their chores. He keeps the youngest women near to his bedroom with the older members of the family sleeping further away - and there is a rotation system for the wife that visits his bedroom.

في إحدى السنوات تزوج السيد شانا من عشر نساء في عام واحد، عندما كان في ذروة إنتاجه، وهو يتمتع بسرير مزدوج بينما تقوم زوجاته بتأدية الأعمال المنزلية. وهو يُبقي نسائه الصغيرات بالقرب من غرفة نومه بينما تنام الزوجات الأكبر سنًا بعيدًا - وهناك نظام تناوب للزوجات اللاتي يزرن غرفة نومه.
