Using abstract patterns and impressionist brushwork on real people transforms them into living paintings. This is exactly what the Washington DC artist Alexa Meade creates in a truly juxtaposition of art and life. Alexa was studying politics for 4 years, until she took an elective art class that changed her life. The professor challenged his students to create a sculpture that felt like a landscape but was not a sculpture of a landscape. This sent Alexa on a mission of discovering her life's true passion. She pioneered a unique style of using the human body as a canvas.

استخدام أنماط الرسم التجريدي والفرشاة الانطباعية على أشخاص حقيقيين يحولهم إلى لوحات حية. هذا بالظبط ما تخلقه الفنانة المقيمة في واشنطن العاصمة أليكسا ميد في أعمال تزاوج مابين للفن والحياة. كانت اليكسا تدرس العلوم السياسة ولمدة 4 سنوات، حتى أخذت حصة اختيارية في الفن غيرت مجرى حياتها. تحدى أستاذ حصة الفن طلابه لتشيكل مجسمات تبدو وكأنها مناظر طبيعية ولكنها ليست منحوتات للمناظر الطبيعية. وهذا أرسل اليكسا في مهمة لاكتشاف شغف حياتها الحقيقي. فأصبحت رائدة في أسلوب فريد من استخدام جسم الإنسان كلوحة رسم.
