Largest printed Quran inside a memorial for adoption of Islam in 922.

أكبر مصحف مطبوع داخل نصب يخلد اعتناق الإسلام عام 922.

To commemorate the adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgars in 922, a memorial building was officially opened on 21 May 2012, in Bolgar, Tatarstan, one of Russian Federal Republics. The central hall of the memorial building exhibits the largest printed edition of the holly Quran. Which weighs 800 kg; and measures: 2 m x 1.5 m x 25 cm. It consists of 632 pages. The cover is encrusted with gold leafs, silver, malachite, jasper, turquoise, topaz, gold stone, etc. It was made by an Italian company 'Reverra Ltd'.

لإحياء ذكرى اعتماد الإسلام ديناً لبلغار الفولغا في عام 922، تم رسمياً افتتاح مبنى تذكاري يوم 21 مايو 2012 في مدينة بولغار في تتارستان، إحدى الجمهوريات الروسية الاتحادية. وتعرض في القاعة الرئيسية أكبر نسخة مطبوعة من القرآن الكريم يزن 800 كجم وأبعاده: 2 م × 1.5 م × 25 سم. ويتألف من 632 صفحة. غلافه ملبسٌ بأوراق الذهب والفضة والمرمر ومرصعٌ بالأحجار الكريمة مثل اليشب والفيروز والتوباز وحجرالذهب وما إلى ذلك. وقدم قامت بإنجازه شركة 'ريفيرا المحدودة' الإيطالية.

The memorial building itself is octagonal, 25 meters-high, with a round cupola made of titanite topped by crescent and styled as an ancient Boulgar architecture. Calligraphy of Quran verses decorate the cupola hall. On its way to its final destination at the memorial, the holly book was exhibited for few months at Qolsharif Mosque in Kazan city, capital of Tatarstan.

أما مبنى النصب فهو ماني الشكل وارتفاعه 25 متراً وله قبة مستديرة مصنوعة من التيتانيت يعلوها هلال. وقد بني النصب ليمثل العمارة البولغارية القديمة. وتزين قبة القاعة آيات من القرآن الكريم بالخطوط العربية. وقد عرض المصحف الشريف لبضعة أشهر في مسجد غول شريف في مدينة كازان، عاصمة تتارستان، قبل أن يستقر في موضعه النهائي داخل النصب.
