Have you ever thought of stacking sugar cubes to build a castle?

This is what the Irish Brendan Jamison and Mark Revels have done. They created a project by called Sugar Metropolis made totally of sugar cubes with the aim of having collaborative artwork of ordinary people. The first version of Sugar Metropolis ran from October 2013 to January 2014 at the Royal Ulster Academy of Arts, Belfast, Northern Ireland. With over 40,000 visitors from all over the world, of which 5,000 participated in the project, making it the largest ever collaborative artwork in the history of Northern Ireland.

هذا هو ما فعله الايرلنديان برندان جاميسون ومارك ريفيل. فقد خلقا مشروعاً أسمياه متروبوليس السكر مصنوع بالكامل من مكعبات السكر وذلك بهدف التعاون ما بين الناس العاديين في عمل فني مشترك كبير. وقد تمت النسخة الأولى من مدينة السكر في الفترة ما بين أكتوبر 2013 إلى يناير 2014 في أكاديمية ألستر الملكية للفنون في بلفاست في أيرلندا الشمالية. وذلك بأكثر من 40,000 زائر من جميع أنحاء العالم، شارك منهم 5,000 شخص في المشروع، مما جعله أكبر عمل فني تعاوني في تاريخ ايرلندا الشمالية.
