How could a hen brood little puppies?   كيف يمكن لدجاجة أن تحتضن جراءاً؟

I have read that hens are known to adopt other chicks, even of other bird families, and care for them as if they were their own chicks. But some farmers claim that sometimes hens are quick to adopt other animals as well.
