While in London, few years ago, I took this photo for a levitated street performer.

عندما كنت في لندن، منذ عدة سنوات، التقطت هذه الصورة لممثل أزقة مرتفع عن الأرض بهذا الشكل.

Of course I didn't see the levitation act. He was already levitated above the ground, defying gravity and logic.

بالطبع لم أره يقوم بفعل الارتفاع. فقد كان جاهزا ومرتفعا عن سطح الأرض يتحدى الجاذبية والمنطق.

If you had the chance of travelling to some major world cities, most probably you will encounter one or multiple levitating street performers. They claim that Yogis can levitate themselves. But is that true? Read through to discover how.

Levitation has been a practice by poor (fakir) Indians for ages to collect money from bypassers. It was mentioned in a lot of old travelers notes.

What watcher don't see is the hidden structure under the clothes.

ما لا يراه المارة هو التركيبة المخبأة تحت الملابس.

There is a steel plate on the pavement, covered with a carpet. In the corner of the plate, there is a rod sticking out that holds a steel platform, on which the performers sits. The steel tube which holds the platform runs up his left sleeve. Watch the following video to see how one performer prepares his stage.
