The Lichen katydid exhibits an exceptional mimicry and mimics the coloration and 'texture' of lichen. It lives in the canopy in northwestern countries of South America and eats leaves, flowers and seeds.

يمتلك الجندب الأشني قدرة فائقة على التخفي بمحاكاة شكل الأشنيات أو اللشنيات من ناحية اللون والملمس والشكل. ويعيش في منطقة واسعة من بلدان شمال غرب أمريكا الجنوبية ويأكل الأوراق والزهور والبذور.
