Babywearing, a strange terminology that stopped me. It has nothing to do with what babies wear! It really means wearing babies on back or on any part of the body, i.e. carrying them! It is common in most cultures to find a working woman carrying her baby on her back while performing work, either in the house or in the field.

ارتداء الأطفال، مصطلح غريب أوقفني. وهو مصطلح ليس له علاقة بما يرتديه الأطفال! وإنما يعني فعليا ارتداء الأطفال على الظهر أو على أي جزء من الجسم، أي حملهم ضمن جراب أو ما شابهه! إذ أنه من الشائع في معظم الثقافات أن تجد المرأة العاملة تحمل طفلها على ظهرها أثناء أدائها العمل، إما في منزلها أو في الحقل.

The strange documentary film of Rungano Nyoni on Ghana's camps for witches, attracted my attention to the point that made me set a search for Modern Day Witches. Rungano spent more than a month in a real-life witch camp to prepared a documentary film on the subject, which was published in the Irish Times.	جذب الفيلم الوثائقي الغريب للصحفية رانجانو نيوني في معسكرات السحرات في غانا انتباهي إلى النقطة التي دفعتني إلى البحث عن ساحرات العصر الحديث. فقد أمضت رانجانو أكثر من شهر في معسكر حقيقي لتدريب الساحرات وهي تعد فيلمها الوثائقي حول هذا الموضوع والذي نشر في صحيفة أيرش تايمز الإيرلندية.
Ghana is not the only place where witches can be found. Witches are everywhere, Africa, America, Asia, Europe, etc.	غانا ليست المكان الوحيد الذي يمكن العثور فيه على الساحرات. فالساحرات في كل مكان، أفريقيا، أمريكا، آسيا، أوروبا، إلخ.

These sculptures are really amazing.

هذه التماثيل حقاً مذهلة.

Artist Heather Jansch creates absolutely amazing sculptures of life size horses using driftwood. The sculptures have an underlying steel frame that has been coated in fiberglass so as to hide the steel. She then attaches the wood, wiring the pieces to the frame and staining them. The hooves are usually made out of bronze and sometimes from lead.

تخلق الفنانة هيذر جانش خيولها المدهشة جداً بالحجم الحقيقي باستخدام الاخشاب الطافية. وهي تبني هذه المجسمات فوق إطار من الصلب المغلف بالفايبرجلاس وذلك لإخفاء الصلب. ثم تقوم بتعليق قطع الخشب وربطها بالأسلاك بالإطار ثم دهن القطع. وتصنع الحوافر في العادة من البرونز و أحيانا من الرصاص.
