Plants invaded the village and swallowed its houses as residents left for cities.

النباتات غزت قرية الصيادين وابتلعت بيوتها حالما هجرها سكانها نحو المدن.

Houtouwan village was once home to more than 2,000 fishermen who abandoned their village in the early 1990s migrating to main cities. Plantation took over and grew all over the place; the houses and narrow pathways. Only a handful of people still live in a village.

كانت قرية هوتوان في يوم من الأيام موطناً لأكثر من 2000 صياد هجروا قريتهم في أوائل التسعينيات من القرن الماضي إلى المدن الكبرى. فانتشرت النباتات واستولت على المكان؛ المنازل والطرقات الضيقة. وهناك فقط حفنة من السكان مازالوا يعيشون في القرية.

Hundreds of tourists make their way daily on narrow footpaths of the invaded village.
