مطعم برذرز برغر في مانيللا في الفليبين يقدم برغر خبزته حمراء ملونة بفاكهة الكرانبري.

Burger King's, Japan, advertisement for Kuro Burger caught my attention. Initially I thought it is fake, but search proved that it is real. It is called Kuro Burger (kuro means "black"). The buns and cheese are colored with bamboo charcoal and squid ink black ketchup. Personally I don't see it appealing. The colored burgers seems not to be restricted to Burger King, McDonald's Japan offers Black Halloween burgers and black & white burgers in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Burger King are planning to introduce Red Aka Samurai Burgers in July 2015, where the burgers get their red color from tomato powder added to the buns and cheese.

لفتت انتباهي إعلان برغر كينغ في اليابان عن كورو برغر. في البداية اعتقدت أن الإعلان مزورة، ولكن عند البحث وجدت أنه صحيح. يمى هذا البرغر كورو برغر (كورو تعني أسود). حيث يتم تلوين الخبزة والجبن بفحم الخيزران وصلصة حبر سمك الحبار السوداء. شخصيا لا أجد أنها ذات جاذبية. ويبدو أن البرغر الملون لا يقتصر على برغر كينغ، فماكدونالدز في اليابان يقدم برغر هالوين الأسود ويقدم البرغر الأبيض والأسود في هونغ كونغ وتايوان. ويخطط برغر كينغ لتقديم برغر أكا الساموراي الأحمر في يوليو 2015، حيث يكتسب البرغر لونه الأحمر بسبب إضافة مسحوق الطماطم إلى الخبز والجبن.

If that was not enough, I found Taka Café in Japan that sells purple burgers where buns are colored with blueberries and beetroot and two diners in Philippines that sell red burgers where buns are colored with cranberry fruits. So don't be amazed if you see green burgers or even blue.

وكأن هذا ليس كافياً، إذ وجدت أن مقهى تاكا في اليابان يقدم برغر أرجواني يتم تلوين خبزه بالتوت الأزرق والشمندر ووجدت مطعمين في الفلبين يقدمان البرغر الأحمر حيث يتم تلوين الخبز بفاكهة التوت البري. لذلك لا تندهش إذا رأيت برغراً أخضر أو حتى أزرق.

Not only the bun is black but also the cheese.

ليست الخبزة فقط هي الملونة بالأسود وإناما شريحة الجبن أيضاً.
