Arab Countries celebrate Mother's day on 21 March, but many countries celebrate it later. Most other countries celebrate Mother's day on the second Sunday of May. In China and Korea, though, celebration takes a very special way; offspring wash their mother's feet as a sign of care and respect.
| تحتفل الدول العربية بعيد الأم يوم الأم في 21 مارس (آذار)، ولكن العديد من البلدان تحتفل بهذا العيد في وقت لاحق. فمعظم البلدان الأخرى تحتفل بعيد الأم في يوم الأحد الثاني من شهر مايو (أيار). وفي الصين وكوريا يأخذ الاحتفال طابعاً خاصاً جدا إذ يقوم الأبناء بغسل أقدام أمهاتهم كتعبير عن الإحترام والعناية بهن.
